Season two of the popular Netflix original series Narcos is on the way, and the first trailer has dropped for the show that’s being hailed as the successor to Breaking Bad.
The series, which follows the life of the King of Cocaine himself, Pablo Escobar, was a smash hit with audiences and critics last year, earning itself several award nominations.
While we don’t know exactly what the second series will cover, if the two minute clip is anything to go by it seems the showrunners haven’t held back and we can expect plenty of gun fights, betrayal, and of course, cocaine.
Boyd Holbrook (Gone Girl) and Pedro Pascal (Game of Thrones) both return as DEA agents Steve Murphy and Javier Peña, while Wagner Moura reprises his role of Pablo Escobar.
For those who missed the first season, it’s still available exclusively on Netflix and is well worth binging.
Meanwhile, Season 2 will arrive on the streaming service on September 2.

He credits his success to three core techniques, name repetition, personality mirroring, and never breaking off a handshake.
