The first teaser for Pixar’s newest film, Coco has arrived and it looks literally out of this world!
From the team who brought you Toy Story 3 and Monsters University, Coco tells the story of Miguel (Anthony Gonzalez), a young boy who, despite his parents wishes, dreams of becoming a musician just like his hero Ernesto de la Cruz (Benjamin Bratt).
Following a mysterious set of circumstances Miguel soon discovers why his parents banned him from playing his beloved guitar and he becomes trapped in the colourful Land of the Dead where the secrets of his family lie.
Director Lee Unkrich first had the idea for the film in 2010, while working on Toy Story 3, but it took six years for production on the movie to begin.
This will be the second film that Pixar release this year, following Cars 3 but it’s also the studio’s only original feature this year making it something quite special.
Coco opens in UK cinemas on 1st December, 2017.
More of a concept than a journalist, Tom Percival was forged in the bowels of Salford University from which he emerged grasping a Masters in journalism.
Since then his rise has been described by himself as ‘meteoric’ rising to the esteemed rank of Social Editor at UNILAD as well as working at the BBC, Manchester Evening News, and ITV.
He credits his success to three core techniques, name repetition, personality mirroring, and never breaking off a handshake.
