Three new character trailers for Ubisoft’s For Honor have reared their beardy heads for us, making the game look more savage than ever.
The trailers debuted at PAX West over the weekend and shed a little more light onto the three playable factions in Ubisoft’s not-so-historical brawl-’em-up. Take a peek below for more info on the Samurai, Viking and Knight classes.
The trailer highlights Kensei, Raider and Warden of the Samurai, Viking and Knight classes respectively, who use their various weapons to disembowel and behead their opponents. Because y’know, chivalry or pillaging or whatever.
If you want the official blurb, here’s what Ubi say:
– Samurai: History has not been kind to the Samurai. After losing their homeland to sea and fire, the nomadic warriors have ceased their wandering and have rebuilt themselves a new nation under a mighty Emperor.
– Raider: Previously thought to have vanished, the Vikings have returned to plunder, take new lands, and reclaim their ancient homeland in the north.
– Knight: Scattered for centuries, the Knights have begun at last to gather again under a single banner: that of the Iron Legion.
For Honor has an alpha running from September 15-18 which you can sign up for here, but there’s no guarantee you’ll get in so keep those fingers crossed. The full game is set for release on February 14 2017.
