I think it’s fair to say that most fans of popular anime Attack on Titan can agree that the premise of the show should make a pretty sick videogame.
I mean, you’ve got giant monsters, tons of gore, and a device that lets you zip across the sky dishing out your own brand of bloody aerial justice. What’s not to love?
Thankfully, Koei Tecmo released a gorgeous looking adaptation of Attack on Titan in Japan, and it’s coming to North America and Europe in August.
The publisher recently brought an English build of the upcoming game to MCM Comic Con in London. That’s four glorious minutes of Titan slaying footage, showing off what I believe is the first level of the game.
If Spider-Man, Assassin’s Creed, and Dynasty Warriors all got freaky and had a three way baby, I firmly believe that this Attack on Titan game would be the result.
Naturally, some kind and noble sir has uploaded this footage to YouTube. You can check it out just below and bask in the chaos.
Japan may have gotten the game back in February, but Koei Tecmo’s Attack on Titan officially comes to PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS3 and PS Vita August 26 for Europe and August 30 for North America.
It’s a decent little something to tide us over till season two finally comes to TV, I guess.
