GettyThe fourth victim of Wednesday’s London terror attack has been named by police.
Leslie Rhodes, 75, from Streatham in south London was hit by Khalid Masood’s rented 4×4 on Westminster Bridge.
After battling his injuries, Leslie’s life support was switched off last night.
FacebookRhodes was one of three people hit in Masood’s hateful rampage, including mother-of-two Aysha Frade, 43, who worked at a foreign language school nearby Westminster Bridge.
Also killed was 53-year-old Kurt Cochran, an American tourist celebrating a wedding anniversary with a trip to London with his wife, Melissa Payne Cochran.
FacebookMoments later, 48-year-old PC Keith Palmer was fatally stabbed.
Palmer’s family have since released a statement saying he was a ‘wonderful dad and husband’, meanwhile The Met have said the constable’s shoulder number, 4157U, would be retired as a mark of respect.
PAAssistant Deputy Commissioner Mark Rowley – Scotland Yard’s top anti-terror officer – announced that 50 people were injured, including Kurt Cochran’s wife, and two civilians caught up in the attack are still critical.
He added that 31 people had received hospital treatment and one further civilian is considered to have life-threatening injuries.
PARowley appealed to ‘anyone who knew Khalid Masood well, understands who his associates were and can provide us with information about places he has recently visited’.
Masood was shot dead by police on the scene during his devastating attack.
