POL EMILE/SIPA/REX ShutterstockFrench farmers in the Moselle region have been spraying shit over cars and in front of supermarkets in a massive dirty protest.
The farmers are protesting falling food prices, blaming foreign competition, supermarkets and distributors for their problems.
As well as spraying unsuspecting cars with manure they’ve also been blocking roads with tractors and dumping tires and hay in front of restaurants.

POL EMILE/SIPA/REX ShutterstockReports have estimated that almost ten per cent of farmers are facing bankruptcy, and the government recently announced aid measures to help combat this.
Farmers say this isn’t enough, though.
Union leader Franck Sander claims:
The measures announced by the government are only about postponing contributions, but none of them deal with the competition distortions.
