We aren’t exactly adverse to seeing high-profile footballers try and use their fame to hook up with girls.
And it seems Middlesbrough’s attacking midfielder Gaston Ramirez is no different, having been busted after allegedly trying to sneak his way into one girls DM’s on Instagram.
It’s believed the Uruguay international messaged Zoe Wilson on Instagram with the simple question, ‘Are you single?’
Having quickly looked up Gaston on Wikipedia, she replied: “Yeah but your [sic] not.” Before copy and pasting in the info about his personal life. So fucking awkward.
Zoe also decided to out him on Twitter:
The former Southampton player is married to Micaela Duarte and to make matters worse they had their first child together earlier this year.
He moved to the Premier League back in 2012 for a reported £12m from Bologna, but has struggled to replicate his scintillating first season form which earned him interest from Borussia Dortmund and Atletico Madrid.
One thing’s for sure, there’ll definitely be some serious words in the Ramirez family home if this screenshot of his private messages turns out to be true.
He could of course have fallen foul of the same hacker who got hold of Samir Nasri’s Twitter account last night, posting lewd messages about a doctor he visited in LA for hydration.
If you haven’t seen that, get on Twitter and search Samir Nasri because it’s at least 30 minutes of brilliant entertainment.
Nasri had to delete his Twitter account. Here’s hoping Gaston is innocent and doesn’t have to do the same.
