A 20-year-old girl has been found dead in a field close to her home.
Nina Paunova, who was about to go into the final year of her fashion and marketing degree at Manchester Metropolitan University, was discovered by police last Tuesday in a field in Etton, in the Yorkshire Wolds, close to her abandoned car.
Her mother, Niviana, said her daughter was ‘stunning, bright and hard working’, and dubbed the ‘Beauty of Beverley’ by her friends.
Her mother added that she was close to her younger sister, and lived for fashion and enjoyed travelling, having moved to the UK at the age of five from Bulgaria.
She added:
She loved clothes and make-up.
She enjoyed dressing up and going out with friends and sharing pictures on social media. She liked things to be pretty.
She travelled a lot with us and with friends and she really liked going on holidays, especially skiing.
She started travelling from when we left Sofia, where she was born, and she hasn’t stopped since.
Facebook tributes have also flooded in for the young woman, with Lottie Arianna Rose Pratt posting, ‘R.I.P my little neeny! You’ve touched so many people. I hope you’ve found the peace you wanted. Gone but never forgotten’.
Lisa Murphy wrote: ‘R.I.P Nina, you’re the Beauty of Beverley and will be missed by many’, with Olivia Oxton saying ‘RIP you beautiful girl’.
The police said the death is not being treated as suspicious, and that they are currently preparing a file for the coroner.
