Netting £1million in the Euromillions would probably be enough to keep most people for a while. But Jane Park isn’t most people.
19-year-old Scottish lass Jane Park, or ‘Britian’s luckiest teenager’ to her mates, has scooped £7,079.31 after betting £20 on a meaty 350-1 odds accumulator.
Placing the bet on Sunday, Jane’s bet needed to see wins from Scotland, Poland and Germany, and draws between Finland and Northern Ireland in this week’s international matches. On top of that, she also needed a draw between Perugia and Virtus Entella and a win for Martina Franca in the Italian lower leagues and Spanish team Cordoba.
She admits she has no idea how she managed to win the bet:
I just picked random teams. I’ll probably go shopping with the money and buy a new pair of Christian Louboutin shoes or something. I’m not really too sure what I’ll do yet. I don’t have any more holidays planned, but I’ll maybe go away for my birthday.
Park won £1million when she was just 17 and featured on the tv show, Teenage Millionaire: The Year I Won The Lottery. Since the big win, she has spent a lot of time organising charity events and even paid for teenage cancer sufferer Leon Rendle to fly over to Florida for much needed treatment.
