Two members of Eighty83Three have been caught up in a prank war that went viral after it turned pretty NSFW.
The self-titled Australian ‘girl squad’ of pranksters posted a video to their Facebook page and Snapchat accounts which instantly went viral, to literally no one’s surprise.
The video shows the young Australian Jackass wannabees pulling down each other’s pants in public to humiliate their so-called friends.
The group of entertainers and lifestyle models have each waged a prank war on their other housemates, hitting peak viral fame with a ‘pussy slap’ video.
The viral content has proved so popular, the two main culprits – Jade and Bella – now even have their own team hashtags to accompany their staged pranks.
Their latest offering sees the comediennes revert to the sort of unoriginal tomfoolery you could expect from two toddlers – and while the pranks very occasionally illicit a chuckle, it’s clear to see why the bikini-clad models are such a hit online.
The video was uploaded alongside the classic ‘tag a mate’ encouragement and has since been viewed over 5 million times.
While a wedgie between mates is mildly amusing at times, some commentators have suggested the dissemination of this kind of humiliating game might normalise and even encourage this unsafe behaviour.
The Internet jury is still out, but those of you blessed with a funny bone can presumably all agree that the pranksters’ attempt just isn’t good comedy.
