He’s made his thoughts on pineapple pizza very clear throughout his career – but Gordon Ramsay has now tasted it in front of camera, and his reaction is hilarious.
Likening it to ‘moose turd’, he agreed to try two pieces of Hawaiian pizza during a Facebook Live if he could get 500 donations to his charity campaign with Omaze.
Fans came through with their donations and the chef was left facing an absolute culinary nightmare.
I’m about to find out if I have to eat a monstrosity of a pineapple pizza… in the meantime, use code PINEAPPLE to receive 100 bonus entries to be my VVIP on The F Word: http://bit.ly/Pineapple-F-Word-VVIP

And in true Gordon Ramsay style, he didn’t hold back…
Ahead of trying the pizza, Gordon said:
The only thing Hawaiian on this board is that I’d like to drop it in the ocean.
Pineapple is a fruit, it needs to be roasted with vanilla, served with the most amazing coconut ice cream, not on a pizza with tomatoes.
Gordon takes his first bite, chews for all of two seconds and ends up spitting it out on the floor. Would do the same if I’m honest.
But agrees to trying a second.
His thoughts?
This isn’t a pizza, this is a mistake. This is an Italian tragedy.
At least Romeo and Juliet had a happy ending, the only happy ending for me will be on the toilet tonight. It’s gross.
No offence to Canadians, it’s like eating moose turds, it’s like, shitty, and deep and dark.
And do you know what’s even sadder about this pizza? Nothing.
Gordon, prepared as ever, swiftly took out a bottle of Listerine from his pocket, poured it in a mug and took a huge gulp, before spitting that out, alongside the pizza, on the floor.
Couldn’t agree with Gordon more, fruit does not belong on pizza.
