This is the moment a group of guys in Australia were driving home from a night out when they spotted a clown stood by the side of the road clutching a baseball bat.
The footage was taken in Parramatta, Sydney at around 2am and shows the men driving past the clown before doing a u-turn as one of them steps out to ‘bash him’.
At first the clown walks towards the car but as the man steps out and walks towards him, the clown quickly puts his bat on the ground and backs off but the guy proceeds to attack him, reports the Daily Mail.
He hits him with a flurry of punches – dropping the clown to the floor as his wig falls off – before running back to the car and urging the driver to speed off as the clown lies on the floor with his head in his hands.
Now I’m not going to say that the clown deserved it but by dressing up as a clown, armed with a baseball bat, I can’t really see what else he thought would’ve happened on that night…
With the recent surge in ‘killer clowns’ across the globe, taking to the streets with baseball bats and knives, and with the sole aim of terrifying people – it’s quite clearly only a matter of time until people start attacking them.
The ‘killer clown’ trend began circulating on social media just a matter of weeks ago in the southern states of America, but before long it had gone global with ‘copycat’ sightings propping up everywhere from London to Manchester and in Australia too.
I won’t be losing any sleep over this one.
