Photos have emerged of alleged sexual predator and movie executive Harvey Weinstein on a plane last year with a briefcase filled with prescription drugs.

The movie mogul who has been disgraced in the last few weeks after a series of damning allegations of sexual assault from numerous women, including Hollywood A-List stars, was photographed at New York’s JFK airport last December with a shocking amount of meds.

Images posted by Page Six show Weinstein opening what looks like a small sturdy silver case filled with medications while aboard a first-class flight, in plain sight of passengers and flight staff.

The unnamed source told Page Six:

Many people are wondering how Harvey can live with himself after all he’s done — the years of sexually predatory behavior.

The answer is: with the help of a lot of drugs.

Harvey Weinstein even joked about the drugs in his briefcase, telling a fellow passenger: ‘Oh I’ve got a cold’, the source said.

Another source familiar with Weinstein, told the tabloid:

He always had that briefcase of drugs.
He carries his whole medicine cabinet with him — even stuff he isn’t taking at the time.

Weinstein’s representatives responded with a statement to Page Six:

The prescription bottles seen in the photo are medications prescribed by Mr. Weinstein’s physicians for treatment of diabetes and other ongoing health conditions.

Screenwriter and director, James Toback, another Hollywood player accused in the wake of the Weinsten scandal, has used his medical conditions as a defence against the allegations, claiming to the LA Times it was ‘biologically impossible’ for him to have engaged in such acts.

Celebrities are cutting ties with Weinstein following dozens of allegations of sexual impropriety, including but not limited to: Cara Delevingne, Lena Headey Rose McGowan, Angelina Jolie, Gwyneth Paltrow, Blake Lively and Reese Witherspoon.

Channing Tatum has announced he’ll be stepping down from his directorial debut on Forgive Me, Leonard Peacock, as well as cutting all ties with The Weinstein Company.

Taking to Instagram, Channing wrote:

The brave women who had the courage to stand up and speak their truth about Harvey Weinstein are true heroes to us. They are lifting the heavy bricks to build the equitable world we all deserve to live in.

Our lone project in development with TWC – Matthew Quick’s brilliant book, Forgive Me, Leonard Peacock – is a story about a boy whose life was torn asunder by sexual abuse.

While we will no longer develop it or anything else that is the property of TWC, we are reminded of its powerful message of healing in the wake of tragedy. This is a giant opportunity for real change that we proudly commit ourselves to.

The truth is out – let’s finish what our incredible colleagues started and eliminate abuse from our creative culture once and for all. Chan and Reid.

Quentin Tarantino has announced he will no longer be working with studios Miramax or The Weinstein Company, and admitted his guilt in not speaking up.

According to The New York Times, he gave the following admission regarding his knowledge of the alleged incidents:

I knew enough to do more than I did.

There was more to it than just the normal rumors, the normal gossip. It wasn’t secondhand. I knew he did a couple of these things.

Both Weinstein and Toback are under investigation by the Beverly Hills Police Department for multiple complaints by women.

Weinstein is also under investigation from British police following allegations of multiple incidents occurring between the 1980s and 2015 in London and outside the UK.
