GettyJust two days ago, a true titan of the pop music world was found dead at his home. Now, more heartbreaking details have been revealed about George Michael’s death.
While Michael’s death was originally ruled as ‘unexplained’ by police who attended his home, it is now thought he died from heart failure.
Thames Valley Police claim South Central Ambulance Service attended Michael’s home in Oxfordshire at 13:42 GMT on Christmas Day where the former Wham! singer ‘died peacefully’, according to the Irish Independent.
GettyAfter breaking up with his long-term partner Kenny Goss in 2009, Michael began seeing Fadi Fawaz – a hairstylist and photographer. Tragically, it was Fawaz who found Michael dead when he went to wake him for a Christmas lunch.
Fawaz said:
I went round there to wake him up and he was just gone, lying peacefully in bed. We don’t know what happened yet. Everything had been very complicated recently, but George was looking forward to Christmas, and so was I.
Now everything is ruined. I want people to remember him the way he was – he was a beautiful person.
Since his unexpected death just two days ago, thousands upon thousands of tributes have poured in for the Wham! star.

I’m heartbroken with the news that my dear friend and long-time love George Michael has passed.
He was a major part of my life and I loved him very, very much. He was an extremely kind and generous man.
The beautiful memories and music he brought to the world will always be an important part of my life and those who also loved and admired him.
Rest in peace George Michael. You will never be forgotten.
