North Korea has just opened the country’s newest airport terminal in the capital city of Pyongyang.
The new international terminal replaces Pyongyang Sunan International Airport’s old terminal facility, which dates back to the early days of the Cold War.
The updated airport is the secretive nation’s latest attempt to appeal to tourists and holiday-makers, and it features luxury amenities including a jewellery store, coffee bar, a pharmacy and a chocolate fountain.
And, now, North Korea’s state-owned media agency has released a series of photos of the new facility so you can take a look at the extravagant terminal for yourself.
It certainly looks pretty snazzy, just spare a thought for the poor head architect who Kim Jong Un reportedly had executed during construction of the project…
