One of the biggest stars in comedy has just snapped up one of the most expensive properties in London, as Ricky Gervais buys a £10million London mansion.
He’s come a long way has our Ricky. From the mean streets of Whitley in Reading, the comedian has upgraded significantly with his new digs.
Estimated to be around seven times the average house size in England, the “ambassadorial property” is also seven times more expensive. Consisting of eight bedrooms, four reception rooms, three bathrooms, a massive garden, swimming pool and a summer house. It’s thought Gervais, 54, will have to cough up a stamp duty bill of £1.1million.
Land Registry records show that Gervais’ partner June Fallon bought the house earlier this week, making it one of the biggest house sales in London this year.
Gervais has recently announced that he’ll be releasing a soundtrack to his upcoming film Life On The Road, which sees him bring his The Office character David Brent to the big screen.
