In the wake of the terrorist attacks in Paris which left at least 127 dead and hundreds more injured, people around the world have come together to remember the victims and hold memorial services in honour of the victims.

Immediately following the horrific events in the French capital, numerous cities across the globe lit up famous monuments in the colours of the French flag.

And, on Saturday evening, thousands gathered at the French embassies in cities in Greece, Italy, Russia, Spain, Britain and even further afield to pay their respects and hold candlelit vigils for the victims.
