Here’s What’s Coming In The Division’s Next Free Update

Ubisoft have announced that the The Division’s next free update – Conflict – will debut on May 24. This is the second free update, following the Incursions that came in April.

Conflict will be adding a new incursion (which if you don’t know, are basically like Destiny’s raids) along with new gear sets, weapons, loot, and a brand new mission.

The new Incursion is called Clear Sky and will be set in Columbus Circle, take a look at the official description:

Pitting Division Agents against Rikers, Clear Sky challenges you to take back a formerly LMB-controlled anti-air missile site, restore safe passage to the skies over Manhattan, and reclaim supply drops stolen by Rikers.

The update will also be adding high value targets. You’ll have a limited amount of time, and only one shot to take them on – you’ll be able to keep track of them and their recommended level from your base.

Ubisoft are also introducing a diabolical new hijack feature for Dark Zone, which will allow players to cut an extraction rope, spilling all of the loot on the ground. As if these moments weren’t intense enough.

Check out a trailer below which shows off some of the shiny new features you’ll be able to try out.

You can find even more details over at this Ubisoft blog post. Considering players found a pretty big way to exploit the last Incursion for more rewards, I’m hoping Ubisoft have tightened things up a little this time.
