Love them or hate them, Ant and Dec are on top of the telly world and it’s clearly paying off for the Geordio duo.

According to Companies House, TV’s most famous heterosexual life partners brought in over £7.07 million last year, mostly from presenting some of biggest shows on the box.

The pair have had a busy twelve months, presenting I’m A Celebrity… Get me Out Of Here!, Britain’s Got Talent, Saturday Night Takeaway and the Brit Awards the Huffington Post reports.

Interestingly while Ant pocketed £3 million in the year to the end of June, it’s second billed Dec who brought in the most money, earning £3.38million – a few hundred thousand more than his showbiz partner.

Dec also made just under £3 million from investments and earned £1.76 million from selling an ‘unknown asset’.

This means his company ‘Deecourt’ is worth an eye-watering £12.4 million, while Ant’s shareholder funds at Teecourt are worth a slightyl smaller £12.3 million.

The duo are set to make even more money though when their £10 million a year ‘golden handcuffs’ deal with ITV ends this year. The pair are expected to resign with the channel in a deal rumoured to be worth £30million over three years.

Last week, Britain’s Got Talent boss Simon Cowell praised the presenting duo’s work ethic.

Cowell said

They are is very loyal and the hardest working people I have ever seen… Whenever a [Britain’s Got Talent] act is there, they are on the ball. That’s part of their success and their charm.

Simon also revealed that he is in talks with them about presenting a new US entertainment show, so it sounds like the futures bright for the boys!
