This Morning’s Holly Willoughby has been urged by viewers to ditch her famous blonde locks after she showed off an old photo with her natural hair colour.

The presenter joined in a recent social media trend which involves celebrities posting pictures of their old headshots when they were trying to make it big on TV and the big screen.

Willoughby, along with co-host Phillip Schofield, showed throwback pictures of themselves, and viewers were stunned to find out she’s actually a brunette.

Furthermore, they were astonished at how amazing she looked with her natural hair colour, thus prompting fans of the show to urge her to revert back to her brunette days.

The 37-year-old presenter told viewers:

So this prompted us to dig through our old snaps and find some early shots of the whole This Morning team – lots of scared faces suddenly in the studio.

When her photo came up she stated: ‘Slightly more my natural hair colour there’ pointing out she ‘was a brunette once upon a time’.

Schofield showed an old picture of himself before he became a silver fox – turns out he was a brunette too early in his career.

Old pictures of show regulars, including Alison Hammond, Dr Chris, and chef John Torode were shown too.

However, it was Willoughby’s old headshot which had viewers really talking.

While it remains to be seen if she’ll ever return to her original hair colour you can see more footage of what she looked like as a brunette in old an 90’s advert for lingerie brand Pretty Polly.

She was only 18-years-old when she shot the advert and in an interview with the MailOnline decades later she said:

When I started, I did a lot of lingerie work but it was for Pretty Polly, which is a very safe brand…

It’s been less than a year since I had my second baby so I would need some time to get in shape, but I would consider it.

Having the time to do all these things is the real problem.

Suddenly, I went from reading teen magazines like Just 17, Mizz and More to being on their covers!

Recently the presenter spoke about her harrowing experience of being ‘upskirted’ by the paparazzi during the Brit Awards.

Using her Instagram as a platform for awareness, she posted a collection of the paparazzi’s attempts to ‘upskirt’ female celebrities getting out of cars.

Despite the current climate and the effort to stamp out sexual harassment and misconduct in media, as well as the professional work environment and pretty much everyday life, it seems the paparazzi hasn’t got the memo.

They’re still attempting to get those low angles shots you see all over tabloid newspapers and gossip magazines.

Posting a photo of herself, Abbey Clancy, Louise Redknapp and Rita Ora, getting snapped as they got out of cars, Holly made mention of the Times Up movement.

She wrote on Instagram:

At the beginning of the night we held white roses and walked down a red carpet full of the hope and pride that comes with the #timesupcampaign… at the end of the night, cameras were held low to get a photo up our skirts… times apparently up on #timesup.

One woman trying to get the laws on upskirting changed, is Gina Martin who spoke to UNILAD about her experience of being upskirted.

She was waiting for The Killers to come on stage at British Summer Time, in 30-degree heat, with her sister, when a man took a photograph up her skirt.

After feeling ‘angry’ and ‘humiliated’, the 26-year-old Londoner is now determined no more women will suffer the same injustice. Read her full story here.
