Beyoncé and the Super Bowl, surely lightning couldn’t strike twice?
The minute Beyoncé was announced as part of the half-time show for 2016 you just knew the world exited live TV and hit record to catch a few funny faces.
And that they certainly did.
Reddit was loving the still images that were frantically uploaded for the world to look at.
The Rick and Morty references were flying…
And a few people thought Jay Z may have crept on stage in drag.
It was all one massive throwback to 2013 basically, and the superstar attempted to have many of those images removed.
The Reddit threads just kept on coming, although some people felt nothing could outdo 2013.
And when people weren’t busy trying to get unfortunately timed screenshots, they were recording the pop diva nearly taking an unfortunate tumble.
That is a very good point, Beyoncé did style the shit out of that minor fall.
Some people, however, were entirely preoccupied with the former Destiny’s Child singer’s private life to even notice her performance.
A handful of people did jump to Beyonce’s defence though.
Well whatever you thought of it, the half-time show at Super Bowl 50 was designed to grab people’s attention, and it definitely did that!
