Bruce Willis and Emma Heming’s former apartment at The Eldorado, located at 300 Central Park West, New York, is on the market for a second time this year – with a whopping $12.9 million (£8.53 million) price tag.
Having looked at the pictures, we’re not sure it quite lives up to its enormous expectations. The 3,150 square foot apartment looks more like a run-of-the-mill office than a swanky New York pad. Alright, it includes 50 feet of Central Park views but you might want a little more when you’re forking out that sort of dosh.
The apartment was bought earlier this year by hot-shot banker Armen Avanessians. The prominent Goldman Sachs employee and his wife, Janette, bought the fourth-floor unit earlier this year for a (bargain) $12.75 million.
According to the New York Post, the couple also own the third-floor unit below Willis’ former pad and plan to list that apartment for sale at around the $5 million (£3.31 million) mark. If anyone can afford the combined $17.9 million (£11.83) sale price it is thought they could combine the two to form a spacious duplex.
Whilst Willis’ former apartment boasts three bedrooms and 3½ bathrooms and is in move-in condition, we reckon you could get a little more bang for your buck – check out Rihanna’s equally pricey LA home.
Or even El Fureidis, a plush estate in Montecito, California which was famously the scene of Tony Montana’s last stand in Scarface. It was sold in November by Russian billionaire Sergey Grishin for $12.3 million (£8.13 million).
Now that’s a house.
