Hulk Hogan has been on the apology circuit in New York, trying to prove that he’s not a massive racist.
As part of this, he spoke to TMZ, who asked if he’d like to step in the ring with any of the Presidential candidates, to which he replied: “I want to be Donald Trump’s running mate.”
Sorry Hulk, but if you want to prove you’re not a racist, announcing you’d like to be Vice President to a man who wants to build a wall between America and Mexico, and deport millions of migrants from the US, is not the way to do it. He’s already got enough racists supporting him as it is.
And if he’s serious about his claims, he faces some stiff competition.
Charlie Sheen, having changed his mind about trump being a ‘shame pile of idiocy’, recently signalled his desire to be Trump’s running mate for the 2016 elections.
Hogan or Sheen? It’s a tough one.
So, potentially the current state of American politics is this: a ‘racist’ billionaire running for President, with either a ‘racist’ wrestler or a deranged, ‘tiger blood’ and ‘Adonis DNA’ infused actor as his Vice President.
