The Human Centipede creator has a new film, and it sounds even worse than the first sickening franchise.
In case you were lucky enough to miss it, Tom Six gained movie notoriety after writing and directing one of the most depraved franchises in the history of the silver screen; The Human Centipede… All three of them.
Let’s take a trip down memory lane, shall we:
The plot was simple. Take one psychopathic Frankenscience doctor, an inexplicable hatred of everything pure and joyful, three innocent victims stranded in an isolated forest, and some inspiration from Mother Nature herself.
Sprinkle on the anatomy of a centipede and now, my friend, you’ve got a recipe for satirical body horror like no other.
Let’s just say it’s not everyone’s cup of tea.
Six was slammed at the time for his use of gratuitous gore and writing one of the most one-dimensional comic book character villains to grace the tarnished silver screen.
It only got worse as the franchise went on. Just check this out:
Yet, Six built up quite a cult following.
While we all know a person shouldn’t be judged on their body of work, necessarily, you have to wonder what attracts folk to this kind of pure gore. Takes all sorts.
Nearly a decade since The Human Centipede film debuted – just enough time for any unfortunate souls who saw it to recover by watching The Notebook on repeat – the filmmaker is back with a new film, produced by his sister, Illona.
It’s titled The Onania Club.
The word ‘onania’ is an archaic word for masturbation. It also refers to the so-called pull-out method some ignorant fools attempt during sex, by ejaculating outside the vagina in the hopes no kids are created.
Disclaimer: It doesn’t work and it’s dumb. So, enter Tom Six, again.
He dropped the news of his new film on Twitter, writing ‘Come and see, see and come’:

Clever. The symbol on the teaser poster is an altered version of the Venus symbol, an icon of womanhood, in which images of the female cast members – and an apparent reference to 9/11 – have been superimposed.
If that wasn’t enough to whet your appetite for destruction, cruelty and depravity, there’s also a crying baby, a cancer patient, a charred corpse in sunglasses and prisoners on their knees.
According to Six, The Onania Club will be ‘one of the most vile, inhumane movie experiences of all time’, to literally no one’s surprise.
Here he is pictured with the cast:

The actors involved so far include Jessica Morris, Darcy DeMoss, Deborah Twiss, Karen Strassman, and Flo Lawrence.
The word ‘onania’ comes from the Book of Genesis. The biblical story goes a little something like this: A guy called Onan sleeps with his brother’s wife but tries the old ‘pull-out’ onania trick so he doesn’t impregnate her.
Classy stuff.
I don’t care about bad reviews and haters. When your movies become worldwide popculture you won.

Meanwhile, Six is also releasing another film next year, titled Enjoy, which he has said will be ‘hilariously perverse’ and set in Europe.
If you just can’t wait, The Onania Club should be released in America this year according to IMDb.
Whether it will be derivative of an actual ethical question of adultery and infidelity, or whether it’s just an excuse for Tom Six to film a group of women in the throes of orgasm, remains to be seen.
See it if you will.
