Being cheated on sucks, going to prison for being cheated on sounds much worse.

This is the situation florist Sean Donis finds himself in after catching his wife in bed with her boss.

Sean used the ‘Find my iPhone’ App to track Nancy Aguero Doris’s iPad to her employer Albert Lopez’s house.

If he’d left it there he might have been okay in the eyes of the law.

However, Sean Donis understandably wasn’t thinking too clearly at the time and burst into Albert Lopez’s bedroom, where he found his wife naked with her boss.

He was so determined to catch his wife’s infidelity, he filmed the moment he caught her in bed with another man.

While he did successfully film his wife cheating, he also inadvertently filmed himself breaking into a stranger’s house.

Which is known as burglary according to the courts:

The New York Post reported Donis’s felony burglary case where Albert Lopez told the jury about the break in:

I kept telling him you need to get out of here. He wouldn’t leave, so I grabbed him by his shirt and escorted him out.

Aww, man, slightly embarrassing for Donis. What a crushing experience. Catching your wife cheating and then being thrown out by the guy who was sleeping with her.

On video he recorded himself shouting at his naked wife:

All on video! Both of you mother-f*ckers are fired tomorrow.

Lopez is the CEO of Gotham City Orthopedics where Nancy worked for him as billing manager.

In his rage and frustration, Donis sent the video to his wife’s relatives, handing them the evidence which is now being used to prosecute him for burglary.

The hearing is ongoing and Donis could face upto 15 years in prison if found guilty.

However, his defence lawyer, Howard Greenberg, told jurors in opening statements how Sean ‘deserves a medal’ for catching his wife cheating and not actually getting violent.

He told the jury:

The defendant should be given a medal for the amount of restraint he showed when he entered that scene.

Personally, I think it’s kind of bizarre the lawyer’s defence is men should automatically react with violence to situations like this – it doesn’t paint males in a very good light.

Also, he’s not being tried for what he didn’t do, he’s being tried for what he did do, which is break into a stranger’s house.

Imagine if he’d busted in and they were going over quarterly returns figures or filling out the business tax forms.

Could have been super embarrassing?

Although, what he did find is probably more embarrassing come to think of it?

Prosecutor Nabeela Mcleod added to the burglary charge that by recording Lopez on a phone; ‘Sean Donis broke into his home and invaded his privacy.’

I mean, I guess Donis literally invaded his privacy, but I feel like maybe adulterers in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones?
