Twenty three years after its original release, Disney have given us a whole heap of new footage from Aladdin and the chance to watch the late Robin Williams performing at the top of his game, one more time.
Disney have released the never-before-seen outtakes of Robin Williams throwing everything into his classic performance as the Genie, to mark the re-release of Aladdin on Blu-Ray.
The preview footage was first shown by ABC’s Good Morning America, when members of the cast and crew stopped by on Friday to discuss the digital release of the 1992 classic.

In the outtakes, we see Williams joking, riffing, trying different voices and throwing out celebrity impressions as he crafts the Genie into the character we know and love from the Disney classic.
It’s another chance to see the late actor and stand-up at his absolute best, showing off his renowned comedic improvisational skills and his unique manic energy.
It makes for an awesome watch, as well as something of a bittersweet and emotional experience given the circumstances of Williams’ passing.
