They said that the Titanic was the ‘greatest ship ever built’ so it was only a matter of time until they made a sequel.
An incredible replica of the iconic ocean liner is due to set sail in 2018 and new images show just how incredibly close to the original RMS Titanic the ship is planned to be.
The technology and safety features will, obviously, be dramatically improved from the 1912 original which tragically sank in the Atlantic Ocean, but the ship will otherwise stay true to the decor and features of the first vessel.
According to the Mirror, ‘Titanic 2’ will reportedly feature nine decks, 840 cabins and first, second and third class areas, including smoking rooms, Turkish baths, an Edwardian gym, and the classic staircase which was famously featured in the 1997 film Titanic.
The £400 million vessel is the brainchild of wealthy Australian businessman and politician Clive Palmer.
Check out how impressive the new ship will look below:
Apparently, the ship will be able to carry up to 2,435 passengers (and 900 crew) so the question now is how much tickets will cost and how we can get hold of one, because we definitely want to take a trip on this incredible vessel!
