James Corden Records Powerful Message About America’s ‘Muslim Ban’

Unless you’ve been living under a particularly heavy rock for the week you’ll have noticed that a lot of people aren’t happy with President Trump.

The long and the short of it being that Mr Trump has temporarily banned people travelling from several predominately Muslim countries into the U.S.

People are now arguing that this blanket ban is in fact a sneaky way to ‘ban Muslims’ from entering the U.S. disguised as an issue of homeland security.

Without going into the law’s specifics and the legalities surrounding it, one of the best things to come from the whole sordid affair have been the outpourings of tolerance and respect from around the world in regard to the ban.

From protests across the world to impassioned defences of Muslims from senior U.S. figures it’s been uplifting to see that so many people still care, one of those people being James Corden.

As reported by Mashable, the Gavin and Stacey star recorded himself flying out of Los Angeles International Airport soon after President Donald Trump banned refugees and visitors from entering the U.S.

The short video shows James going about his business at the airport, he checks in, goes through security, grabs a bite to eat and then jumps on the plane without any fuss.

While the video may seem like an odd little travelogue it’s in fact designed to highlight that freedom of movement should be a right for all people regardless of racial and religious prejudice.

I’m sure there are plenty of people who’ll lazily label James a cuck for this video but I just think it’s nice that people care in the face of fear.
