You might remember a few months back, when a stripper revealed one of the most fucked up stories ever about her trip to Florida via Twitter.

Well, we said we could see it turning into something a lot bigger in 2016 and it seems we weren’t wrong. Actor James Franco is to direct an adaptation of the Rolling Stone article about the Twitter saga for the big screen.

Journalist David Kushner published his article ‘Zola Tells All: The Real Story Behind The Greatest Stripper Saga Ever Tweeted’ in November and now scriptwriters Andrew Neel and Mike Roberts have got hold of it.

It remains to be seen if Zola will be involved in the filming process or will get a slice of the profit once it’s released, but if her latest tweet is anything to go by, she could be in the thick of it.

The article was an exclusive account of Zola, a Hooters waitress, who spoke about the time she met a stripper in her branch of the famous restaurant/bar whom she became quite friendly with.

She explained how she eventually decided to head down to Florida with Jessica (the stripper) – who also turned out to be a prostitute – to make a little extra cash. But that’s only the start of it.

What ensued were a shit ton of tweets detailing wild events which Quentin Tarantino would have been proud to present to the world in the form of a feature length film. Kushner even described it as reading like ‘Spring Breakers meets Pulp Fiction as told by Nicki Minaj.’
