Comedian Jason Manford was at the epicentre of a social media storm as he shared a furious post about the horrific Paris terror attacks last night.
The father-of-three slammed the ‘cowards’ in an angry, sweary rant, but apparently his post breached Facebook guidelines and this led to his profile being completely removed from the site. Hours after the post his profile was reinstated, but the post had been removed from his thread.
To begin, he said:
Fucking cowards. Slaughtering innocent unarmed people for what? Families and children enjoying life, theatre, meals? Not an army vs army you fucking cowards. For what? In whose name? Are you doing this in the name of your god? Cos I’ve got news for you, if you think your ‘god’ is gonna reward you for this type of atrocity then your god is a massive cunt.
He continued:
I hope you are all caught and murdered in a similar agonising way you fucking scumbags. You are an embarrassment to humanity and a shit stain on all of humanity. You will never defeat us, we are too strong you utter bastards.
Although his profile was taken down rather quickly by Facebook, for breaching their guidelines, his fans managed to screen grab his comments and post it on Twitter.
Despite many supporting the comics words on the attackers, one Twitter user described him as “Islamophobic”.
He then responded to some of the backlash he received:
This comes after terrorist gunmen and bombers attacked several different locations and events across Paris last night, including the Stade De France and the Bataclan Concert Hall, killing at least 128 people.
