The first trailer for Michael Bay’s “13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi” has just been released and gives us a look at what Jim Halpert from The Office looks like as a badass soldier.
John Krasinski plays one of the leads in the movie and it’s a big departure from his loveable character in the famous U.S. sitcom.
The film is based on the Mitchell Zuckoff book ‘Thirteen Hours: A Firsthand Account of What Really Happened in Benghazi’, and tells the story of the six members of a U.S. security team who fought to defend the American diplomatic compound in Benghazi from an attack of Islamist militants on September 11, 2012 — the 11th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.
“When everything went wrong, six men had the courage to do what was right,” the trailer states.
And the trailer conveys the appropriate sense of menace and tension, before showing clips from the wild action scenes and, as it’s a Michael Bay movie, there’s a fair few explosions involved.
The film hits theatres in January and we doubt there’ll be any charming love stories like Jim and Pam in this one!
