Star Wars fans be wary of spoilers as John Boyega may have revealed what happens to Leia in Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
Ever since Carrie Fisher’s tragic death last December, mourning fans have been speculating how Lucasfilm would handle the situation.
However, everyone had been keeping schtum…everyone except big mouth Boyega that is, who may have just revealed the secret.

In an interview with We Got This Covered, Boyega said:
This movie, it sends her off in a very amazing, amazing way.
She’s still kept alive in this franchise. You know, that’s the beauty of it.
She lives forever in a sense.
After The Last Jedi director said earlier this year he wanted to give Leia fans an ’emotional satisfaction’, Boyega’s comments seem to confirm that the princess will indeed be kept alive.
Of course, we may be reading too much between the lines but it does seem likely the rumour is true.
I am sure The Last Jedi will give Carrie Fisher’s wonderful princess, and now General, the farewell that she deserves.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be released in cinemas December 15.
