They spent years throwing themselves into bushes, falling off skateboards and hurting themselves and each other, but the coolest bunch of dudes from Jackass have reunited.
Johnny Knoxville posted a photo of himself stood with Bam Margera, with Jason Acuna – aka Wee Man – in the background, saying it had been seven years since they’d last got together.
For those who don’t know, Jackass was an American reality series, originally shown on MTV from 2000 to 2002, featuring a group of guys performing various, dangerous, sometimes rude, self-injuring stunts and pranks – and it was absolute TV gold.

Knoxville, along with friends Jeff Tremaine, Dave Carnie, Rick Kosick, Dave England, and Chris Pontius all met at Big Brother magazine – a skating and humour mag’ – and the idea of Jackass was born.
Bam Margera, meanwhile, had released a movie, Landspeed: CKY, consisting of himself and his friends performing various skits and stunts – similar to the idea of Jackass.
The CKY crew included Ryan Dunn, Brandon DiCamillo, and Raab Himself, as well as Margera’s mum April, dad Phil, uncle ‘Don Vito’, who died in 2015, as well as his brother Jess.
The CKY crew were called in to feature on Jackass and they welcomed Steve-O on board, who they found working as a clown in a Florida flea market.
The show ran for two years, with a 24-hour special on MTV and the guys made a number of successful films, including Bad Grandpa.
There have been various rumours of another Jackass film, with suggestions it would be titled Jackass 4: We’re Not Dunn Yet, referring to Ryan Dunn, CKY and Jackass funnyman who tragically died in a car accident in 2011.
The untimely death of Dunn hit Bam hard, they were best friends. While already a big drinker and drug taker Bam fell into a downward spiral behind closed doors.
For five years, he has remained out of the limelight and focused on getting back to health, however, since getting clean, the pro-skater is back doing what he loves the most – besides performing ridiculous stunts – skateboarding.
Recently, he was back on the scene with prominent skateboard brand Element, launching his own brand of personalised decks, something he’d done years before.
Element announced his return with a heartfelt press statement:
Bam’s natural talent on a skateboard and hilarious on-screen antics thrust him into the spotlight at a young age, making him one of the most popular and fun-to-watch skateboarders in the world.
As his media career took off, millions of people around the world were exposed to skateboarding for the first time – with his larger-than-life personality inspiring an entire generation of kids to go skate.
