Jonah Hill’s recent weight loss came with the help of little bit of inspiration from his 21 Jump Street co-star Channing Tatum.
The Superbad and Wolf of Wall Street actor has put weight on, and lost it, for roles previously, but right now, he’s looking pretty trim.
In an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Jonah spoke about how he’d asked Channing about losing weight – and how he’d accidentally emailed his food diary to Drake.

Speaking to host Jimmy, Jonah said:
I gained weight for this movie War Dogs and then I wanted to get in better shape, so I called Channing Tatum, and said, ‘hey, if I ate less and go to a trainer, will I get in better shape?’
And he said, ‘yes, you dumb motherf*cker, of course you will, it’s the simplest thing in the entire world.
Jonah has previously spoken out publicly about having to put on weight for certain roles, and how he takes on fitness and nutrition regimes afterwards in order to lose it again, writes Cosmopolitan.
The actor was pictured in LA after a workout recently, and you might have to do a double-take, because he looks like a completely different person.
And Jonah let on about the time he emailed his food diary to Drake by accident.
Telling Jimmy:
I went to this nutritionist and the doctor was like, ‘do me a favour and write down what you eat everyday and email it to me at the end of the day’.
So one night I was at home and I was bored and I thought ‘oh I didn’t email this guy’ and so I write down yoghurt, salad, chicken, whatever, and I sent it to him and later I was looking like an hour later through my sent messages – he didn’t email back, usually he just emails back ‘ok’ or something – and it must have been ‘dr’ or something because it was doctor…and I’d sent it to Drake.
So Drake, who I don’t know well at all, he just got an email from me that said ‘yoghurt, salad, chicken’ and then just ‘Jonah’ at the end of it.
Drake never wrote back.
