Jordan Feldstein, who was the manager of Maroon 5, has died aged 40.

Feldstein, who was the brother of actor Jonah Hill, is believed to have suffered a heart attack.

As the CEO of Career Artist Management he helped pave the way for many acts like Miguel, Robin Thicke, Elle King, Big Boi and of course Maroon 5, who he had managed for 15 years.

Feldstein was childhood friends with Adam Levine, and helped secure him a role on NBC’s The Voice.

His family wrote in a statement, via Billboard:

Unfortunately, last night Jordan called 911 for shortness of breath, when paramedics arrived it was
determined he went into full cardiac arrest and passed away shortly thereafter.

His family asks for privacy during this difficult and unexpected time.

In lieu of food and flowers, the family will announce a charity in the coming weeks where memorial donations can be made in Jordan’s name.
