Jurassic World 2 Has Been Confirmed After Huge Profits

Universal have confirmed that Jurassic World 2 will be made, and already has a release date of June 22nd 2018.

The announcement will come as absolutely no surprise to anybody who has followed the success of the reboot, as it was recently revealed to have taken more than The Avengers in sales. At $1.52 billion in global box office receipts, it has become the third best selling film of all time.

Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will reprise their roles as Owen Grady and Claire Dearing, and Steven Spielberg is on board as executive producer. Colin Trevorrow will not be returning to the directors chair, but has been reported to be writing the script. Trevorrow stated in an interview that he see’s the Jurassic series having a different director for every instalment, kind of like Star Wars.

This obviously nods towards another franchise of Jurassic Park films that we’re all hoping won’t sink as low as Jurassic Park 3. Shame on you William H. Macy. Shame on you.
