Justin Bieber has taken to Twitter, posting a touching tribute to a friend he lost in the Paris attacks.
Universal Music Group executive Thomas Ayad was one of the 89 people who lost their lives during the attack at the Eagles Of Death Metal concert at the Bataclan. The exec had worked closely with Bieber in the label’s French office.
Justin tweeted a heartfelt message about the loss of Ayad.
The singer remembered the victims of the massacre, by pausing during his shows over the weekend to pray for those affected by what happened.
He also paid tribute during his acceptance speech for the HALO Hall of Fame Award in New York.
He said: “There’s been some sad things happening in the world right now, and I think that we should all honour that and just take one moment of silence for that.
