Kanye West says he has been used by people to promote political messages, and claims he is now done with it.
He fired off a series of tweets distancing himself from the political arena, disavowing himself from politics in the future.
He said:
My eyes are now wide open and now realize I’ve been used to spread messages I don’t believe in. I am distancing myself from politics and completely focusing on being creative.

It has been reported by TMZ that the culprit behind Kanye’s sudden change of tune is Candace Owens, an ‘ultra-conservative’.
Kanye said:
I introduced Candace to the person who made the logo and they didn’t want their name on it so she used mine. I never wanted any association with Blexit. I have nothing to do with it.
Owens herself said:
Blexit is a renaissance and I’m blessed to say that this logo, these colours, were created by my dear friend and fellow superhero – Kanye West.

West has supported Donald Trump since his 2016 election, and even visited the White House recently to discuss politics with the President, which instantly became a meme.
Owens and Kanye have been working together in the past few months, and Owens even accompanied West and Kim Kardashian West on a recent trip to Uganda.
I would like to thank my family, loved ones, and community for supporting my ACTUAL beliefs and my vision for a better world.

Writing on right-wing site Breitbart, Owens said:
It’s hard to put into words what that level of innovative energy felt like. We were overwhelmed with inspiration as soon as we landed in Uganda. There was a real rooted tribal vibe and hora around us.
That feeling of going back to our homeland, being in Africa – the feeling of family and togetherness that we as people have moved away from – motivated Kanye and inspired what came to be the Blexit design.
