Katie Hopkins Has Been Sacked From LBC

Controversial media personality Katie Hopkins has been sacked from radio station LBC with immediate effect.

The announcement comes after Hopkins said that a ‘final solution’ was needed following the Manchester terror attack on Monday night.

In a controversial tweet, she appeared to imply that there should be a genocide of Muslims, her use of ‘final solution’ presumably referring to the Nazis’ plan to murder all Jews within reach.

Hopkins, who’s breakthrough came as a contestant on The Apprentice in 2006, has since been a columnist spouting bile for The Sun and Daily Mail before joining LBC last April.

People have since responded to her sacking on Twitter…

Hopkins who has been dubbed a ‘professional troll’ has often sparked outrage with her comments.

During an appearance on This Morning in July 2013, Hopkins said she would stop her children playing with other kids based on their names. She told Philip and Holly she had a particular dislike for ‘lower class’ names like ‘Charmaine, Chantelle, and Chardonnay’, adding she did not like ‘geographical location names’ either… despite having a daughter named India.

In April 2015, Katie Hopkins wrote a column in The Sun compared migrants to ‘cockroaches’ and ‘feral humans’ and said they were ‘spreading like the norovirus’.

She also wrote that gunships should be used to stop migrants from crossing the Mediterranean – shock horror people aren’t exactly sad to see her go.
