Katie Hopkins has done it again.
The right-wing television personality and newspaper columnist has sparked outrage over some extremely inappropriate tweets about the Brussels attacks.
Hopkins blamed German chancellor Angela Merkel, the Syrian refugees, and anyone who supported those fleeing war zones for the attacks which claimed at least 23 lives.
Next time you hear someone say we are safer IN the EU – remember Brussels. Seen as the heart of Europe, it is now jihadi central. #brexit

How can you separate the human from the political. Merkel – and her ilk- blew up Brussels. #brexit

Every one of you who said refugees are welcome, if you said 'let them in'. You are responsible for Brussels. And you still can't see.

Go on. Draw a cartoon to the survivors, come up with a hashtag, lay flowers in a square. Just like you did last time. And will do the next.

Her tweets used the very recent Brussels attacks to justify why Britain should leave the European Union, and her comments came just after politicians and other Ukip supporters expressed the same view.
Telegraph columnist Allison Pearson was also trending on Twitter across the UK after she used the attacks to justify the Brexit.
@KTHopkins We don't have the full story coming out of Brussels, and yet you think this is a good opportunity to wave the Brexit flag. Cheap.

While Katie Hopkins may have the support of some Ukip politicians and Brexit supporters, the majority of people on Twitter were quick to hit back at the comments.
Many people warned Katie Hopkins that now was not the time to make political statements about the Brexit and reminded her about the 7/7 bombings, which was not undergoing a refugee crisis at the time when the attacks took place in London.

One Twitter user said: ““7/7, Paris attacks. Home grown terrorists. Not refugees. @KTHopkins doesn’t know who was responsible for this sick attack.”
And another wrote: “You do NOT get to speak for our city. Refugees are welcome, you are welcome to stay out #brussels.”
Best response to idiots like Katie Hopkins I've seen today…#Brussels #Bruxelles pic.twitter.com/uyIY0gJ11k

Although the comments are no surprise coming from Hopkins, they are atrocious and wildly inappropriate.
