Kel Mitchell – perhaps better known as Kel from Kenan and Kel – has announced that he’s expecting a ‘Good’ bun in the oven with wife Asia Lee.
And if you’re a 90s kid or nostalgia fan, you’ll appreciate the way he did it.
Taking to his Instagram following, Kel shared with fans that the couple are expecting their first child through a Good Burger-themed baby announcement.
The photo was made complete with Good Burger hats, Good Burger burgers and Kel’s alter-ego’s favourite drink, orange soda.
The 38-year-old captioned the post: “We have a bun in the oven! thank you @therealasialee for being the best Wife to me the best Friend to me and now the best Mom to our blessed baby!! I love you so much!”
While this is the first child for Kel and Asia, the actor is already a father to 17-year-old son Lyric, and 15-year-old daughter Allure.
And if his baby announcement left you wishing for more Good Burger, there may be ‘good’ news.
In October 2015, Kel teased a possible sequel during an interview with US Weekly, saying: “It’s just a thought, just a thought. But there’s definitely a possibility of something. So you just got to keep watching!”
He may have to take some time off for fatherhood, but we may just be seeing Kel back in a Good Burger sequel sometime soon.
