Kind Stranger Pays For Woman’s Parking Ticket Outside Hospital

A young mum in Australia has been struck by a random act of kindness.

The woman was taking her nine-week-old baby to the hospital when she was dealt a parking ticket, but a stranger decided to pay for the ticket out of her own pocket.

Laura, who wished to withhold her surname, paid the ticket and simply left a note, saying ‘I’m sure whatever you are going through at hospital is tough enough, so I have paid for you… Hope things get better!’

The mum took to Facebook (obviously) to try and grab Laura’s attention to show her gratitude for paying the fine.

She posted:

Over the past few days I have been in hospital with my nine-week-old son. We were discharged today and as I walked to my car I noticed that I had a parking ticket.

After those days in hospital, a parking ticket was one more thing that I didn’t need.

Well to my surprise, when I opened the envelope there was a note from a lovely lady named Laura.

I hope that Laura sees this and knows how much I appreciate her support.

Let’s hope the kind stranger receives some good karma soon herself – if only for restoring our faith in humanity!
