Kodak Black could be facing up to 30 years in prison, as he faces new criminal charges for sexual misconduct with a teenager.

The rapper has been indicted by a grand jury in South Carolina for alleged sexual assault of a teenage girl.

The misconduct allegedly occurred in February 2016 after Kodak Black – real name Dieuson Octave – performed at the Treasure City nightclub in Florence, South Carolina.

Octave, who is 20 years old, was indicted by a grand jury in Florence County of first-degree criminal sexual assault, according to ABC15.

The girl who reported the sexual assault first went to her school nurse in Richland County – the school resource officer then made the Florence County Sheriff’s Office aware of the allegations.

The Sheriff’s report said Octave allegedly assaulted the girl at the Comfort Inn and Suites in Florence.

A report by TMZ said Octave allegedly pushed the victim into a wall and onto a bed before assaulting her by biting her neck and breast before ‘forcibly having sex with her’.

The victim apparently told authorities she accompanied Octave back to his hotel room and he allegedly said he ‘couldn’t help himself’.

The indictment happened in April, but the news has only just broken – Octave was arrested last December, but was released on a $100,000 bond.

Other conditions for the rapper’s bond were Octave couldn’t comment on the allegations against him either in print, electronic form, or on social media – if he does, then his bond will be revoked.

He’s also ordered to have no contact with the victim or the victim’s family, according to Twelfth Circuit Solicitor, Ed Clements.

The rapper was extradited in November 2016 to Florence from Florida in order to face the charges against him.

Within hours of his release, Octave recorded and released a single ‘There He Go’ about his release from jail.

Kodak Black is a rapper known for his singles ‘No Flockin’ and ‘Tunnel Vision’.

He was born in Pompano Beach Florida and began rapping in local trap houses after school.

Octave has had numerous legal troubles throughout his life, including multiple brawls and breaking and entering, according to Passion Weiss.

In January 2017, Kodak allegedly posted an Instagram Live video of himself in Washington with several other men, while a female performed oral sex on them.

There have been previous reports about allegations made by the father of Danielle Bregoli, better known as ‘Cash Me Ousside’ girl – her father, Ira Peskowitz, voiced serious concerns after Kodak Black allegedly Skyped 14-year-old Danielle about how she should have sex with a guy who she was seeing.

Speaking to UNILAD, Ira, who is a police officer, said:

I’m always in it for Danielle to do the right thing. Atlantic Records, I’m not very impressed because of the other people who they have in regards to the people she hangs out with such as NBA Young Boy and Kodak Black who have got extensive career criminal pasts that are very violent in nature…

Why would her mother allow her to hang out with a guy so violent like Kodak Black, even the crimes he committed against others.

He’s the one who Skyped with Danielle and talked to her, telling her how to have sex with a guy who was coming over. People watch that, and they’re making money off of it.

The biggest fear obviously is, besides her psychological and emotional well-being from being around these people and being exposed to their drugs, their cursing, their sex, I’m really concerned about retaliation. Of possible drive-bys, possible violence.

Her safety is number one and her emotional well-being is number two.

A trial date for Octave is yet to be confirmed.
