Now that the dust surrounding Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has settled, Konami have released an in-depth video explaining it’s latest feature, Metal Gear Online.
The video talks us through three of the available player classes – infiltrator, scout and enforcer – as well as mission types, strategies and various player abilities. Also, fanboys and girls can relax – Snake and Ocelot will be playable characters in MGO.
The gameplay mechanics will remain largely unchanged from Metal Gear Solid V, and you’ll even be able to fulton enemy soldiers back to your base and interrogate them.
You’ll be able to play as the character you create at the start of MGSV, or create a completely new one if that tickles your fancy.
Metal Gear Online will go live as a free download for Metal Gear Solid V owners on 6 October across all platforms.
