A grim new video shows what happens if you startle a snake when it’s in the middle of a meal.
This huge reptile’s eyes must have been bigger than its belly because its crazy attempt to swallow five birds whole didn’t end very well at all!
When a man tries to take a closer look at the Burmese Python in South-East Asia, a pair of bird’s feet are clearly visible sticking out of the snake’s mouth.
And, apparently the python was so shocked when the man grabbed it that it regurgitated its large meal and vomited up that bird, followed soon after by four more!

At one point, a dog wanders over to see what’s going on and its stunned reaction to proceedings pretty much sums up our own feelings watching this footage!
Snakes will usually regurgitate their food shortly after ingestion if they become stressed, doing so for survival purposes in case they need to fight back against a potential attacker or predator.
The whole thing is pretty gross but, hey, that’s nature for you!
