The iPhone 8 is the most eagerly-awaited tech of 2017, and of course, the rumour mill is working overtime to figure out what Apple has in store for smartphone sheeple.

Some new features of the iPhone 8 have been confirmed, including the A11 processor, wireless charging, an expansive 5.8″ OLED display screen, a vertical dual-lens camera system, and front facing cameras with 3D facial recognition capabilities.

But a new leak from a reputable source has told iDrop News that all-important piece of information you’ve all been waiting to hear: The size of the new iPhone.

Reports have suggested the iPhone 8 will be slightly larger than its predecessor, but now freshly leaked insider information confirms the new model will be larger than the iPhone 7 in every way.

The new dimensions have been exclusively obtained by iDrop News from ‘factory workers with intimate knowledge of Apple’s latest device’.

iDrop reports:

The iPhone 8’s actual dimensions come in at a much heftier 143.59 x 70.94 x 7.57 mm in comparison to the iPhone 7’s smaller chassis at 138.3 x 67.1 x 7.1 mm.

While the iPhone 8 (pictured above on the middle) will measure in smaller than the iPhone 7 plus (pictured above on the right), its expansive smartphone screen is still the largest Apple have manufactured to date.
