In news that is decidedly not fetch, Lindsay Lohan has undergone emergency surgery after losing part of her ring finger during a boating accident in Turkey – and the photos are gruesome.
According to TMZ, the incident happened as Lohan was attempting to lift a heavy anchor off the boat she was on when she got tangled in the rope and was pulled into the water. Sounds absolutely grim.
Describing the incident on social media, she said part of her ring finger was severed and had to be fished out of the water.

On the plus side, the missing tip was recovered and doctors swiftly re-attached the digit.
The Mean Girls actress, who was in the area for a humanitarian project in support of Syrian refugees, was soon well enough to Snapchat the aftermath.
Along with a photo of her bandaged finger, she wrote:
I almost lost my finger from the anchor. Well I lost half my finger, thank goodness we found the piece of my finger.
I just had surgery to fix it. It hurts so bad.
We hope she gets better soon, considering today marks the anniversary of one of Lohan’s biggest ever acting moments.
