A truck has crashed into a busy Christmas market in Berlin causing at least nine fatalities and multiple injuries, according to numerous reports.
At least nine people have been confirmed dead and Reuters have claimed that there are over 50 people injured.

Police officers at the scene have claimed that they believe it to be an attack, according to Sky News.

Video footage from the scene of the crash show numerous people lying injured on the ground at the Breitscheidplatz market outside the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church.
Photos from the scene also show numerous ambulances responding to the injured.

The driver of the truck has reportedly now been arrested by police.
