A bizarre new poll revealed that almost a third of Republican supporters are in favour of bombing Agrabah- the home town of Aladdin from the famous Disney movie. For fuck sake.
The results of a survey by Public Policy Polling were released yesterday, revealing 30% of Republican primary voters responded ‘yes’ when asked: “Would you support or oppose bombing Agrabah?”
The majority of the 532 respondents – 57% – said they were unsure whether they would bomb the location under The Sultan’s rule, while only 13% said they were opposed to bombing. Only 19 per cent of Democratic voters would do the same.
It’s not too surprising that the internet has gone to town on the findings…
It’s no real shock that of those in favour of bombing a cartoon country, just under half of them were backing Donald Trump for President.
The survey revealed other shocking results. About 54% of those polled support banning Muslims from entering the U.S and 46% support the creation of a national database of Muslims in the United States. 25% even said that Islam should be illegal in the U.S. What absolute morons.
36% of Republicans polled also believed Arabs in New Jersey cheered when the World Trade Centre was brought down by terrorists on September 11- a claim Trump made himself.
This all comes after the toupee-wearing twat called for a ‘total and complete shutdown’ of the country’s borders to Muslims in the wake of the San Bernardino terrorist attack.
I could imagine a war on Agrabah is exactly what this guy wants for sure, think they’d still struggle to win it though… just saying.
