It’s no secret that master documentarian Louis Theroux is keen to film a documentary on President Donald Trump and it seems he has found the ideal title thanks to recent tweets made by the POTUS.
As Trump wages a one-man war on the press – both domestic and international – and so-called ‘fake news’, the Democrats, Kim Jong-un and North Korea, the cast of Saturday Night Live and pretty much anyone who disagrees with him, the one valuable weapon weapon he has is in the form of 280 characters… aka Twitter.
Thanks to his recent Tweet, in which he ‘modestly’ proclaimed that he was ‘a very stable genius’, Theroux may have found the ideal title for his next magnum opus.
Taking to Twitter Theroux wrote:
A Very Stable Genius would be a pretty good title for a doc about Donald Trump.

It seems his 1.86 million followers were on board and want him to go ahead with the title too.

The inspiration came from a series of tweets Trump posted last week, which was in response to the controversial, tell-all-book by author and journalist Michael Wolff, titled Fire And Fury.
Wolff was given an intimate, all-access-glimpse into scenes of the Trump administration which includes interviews which have seriously brought into question the mental stability of the POTUS and the ever-present shadow of Russian meddling in 2016’s presidential election.
In response to Wolff’s book, which the US government allegedly tried to stop from getting published, Trump Tweeted:
Now that Russian collusion, after one year of intense study, has proven to be a total hoax on the American public, the Democrats and their lapdogs, the Fake News Mainstream Media, are taking out the old Ronald Reagan playbook and screaming mental stability and intelligence…..
….Actually, throughout my life, my two greatest assets have been mental stability and being, like, really smart. Crooked Hillary Clinton also played these cards very hard and, as everyone knows, went down in flames. I went from VERY successful businessman, to top T.V. Star…..
….to President of the United States (on my first try). I think that would qualify as not smart, but genius….and a very stable genius at that!
In an interview with The Guardian Theroux said:
Trump saw through so much. For all his awfulness, I can’t but help admire his shamelessness, in an odd way. Or maybe not admire, but be fascinated by it and maybe envy it. In a shame culture he seems to have figured out that if you refuse to be shamed, it gives you enormous power.
When the thought of Trump taking the highest seat in power was nothing more than a one-in-a-million chance scenario Theroux told ABC News:
I think there’s a feeling of almost, you know, a grassroots feeling of being betrayed by the elites in some way in the sense that the system is working for itself and not for the people at the bottom.
I think the same thing is behind Trump. A lot of people feel let down by the whole Republican and Democrat political system and they see Trump – for all his flaws – as a breath of fresh air. I think he could win, he could win because there are Trump supporters out there that aren’t even revealing themselves as such.
For me, that’s a scary prospect because, for me, I’d think he’d be a disastrous president.
In February 2017 he told NME his Trump documentary would be an ‘amazing challenge’ as he hopes to navigate his way through all the exaggerated hyperbole which surrounds the controversial leader and get to the root of his ‘foibles’.
